T is for Totoro

My daughter requested a drawing of her and Totoro. I thought it would be best to combine the character and Dylan's favorite place...Hogwarts. Of course she had to sport her Slytherin scarf and Deathly Hallows T-shirt. I imagined Dylan showing off her fuzzy friend while they flew around the school.

B is for Burton

This is a development piece for a co worker its a fun project that I'm helping him develop. The pine air freshener helps Burton see through dark places and the scent helps to ward off the undead.

L is for Leg

Completed some leg poses and a first pass for a walk cycle. My daughter is going to use the poses to animate a walk for my wife's website.

B is for Brandi

Over the weekend our friend Brandi was sporting this wicked outfit during the street fair. She was hoping to run into a crazy woman she called the Super Bitch! Super Bitch was a lady hanging out at a local bar that was sporting a superman outfit that had Styrofoam muscles.

A is for Arms

Created some arm poses for Mike, these can be mixed and matched to create a variety of poses.

M is for Mike

Just got back from vacation and started back on my wife's new website. Here are some mouth and eye shapes I completed over the weekend.

E is for Eye

Finished some eye expressions and applied some of the existing mouth shapes to see if they will work. Cool to see cartoon Kelly coming to life :)

M is for Mouth

Here's a couple of mouth charts I finished over the weekend for my wife's new website. The idea is to create pieces that she can mix and match to create different expressions. The next part will be eye and hand charts.

R is for Redo

Update: another version of Mike he wasn't too fond of the Flintstone look for his caricature so I adjusted him to match Kelly a little more.

V is for Video

Helping my wife with another business website. I attempted to stylize her friend Mike and her as if they were a creation from the old Hanna Barbera studios.

W is for Waffle!

Another co-worker who cooks up some killer waffles for all the animators once a month. Her little dog Milo is always following her around.

T is for Troll!

Here's another co-worker that loves to be a troll when replying to spam e-mails. He's a funny guy and loves his little buddy J.J. I figure to use the trolling idea as his alias for my imaginary cartoon show.

R is for Raptoid

Here's the colored version of the cleanup drawing that I posted yesterday. This is a co- worker of mine that loves to chat about Hollow Earth and reptoids. So I imagined that he lives with 2 rap artists that happen to be reptoids. I also wanted to make this feel like it was from a cartoon show so I added the titles and border around it. Enjoy!

C is for Cleanup!

So I caved in and bought a Cintiq and this is my first art piece. I just finished the kid this morning and combined him with the 2 lizards. I flattened the layers so lines are crossing over each other but that will magically disappear once its colored. Now on to coloring!!!

S is for Service

Created a new image for my wife's website, TheChicGeek.com. She'll be applying this image sometime this week. =)

M is for Magic

My daughter asked for me to draw her as a Harry Potter character. She also wanted her favorite villainess Bellatrix to be a part of the drawing and requested that Bella shouldn't resemble the actress too much. So here is what I came up with Dylan creating the Dark Mark and Bellatrix looking upset because Dylan was able to accomplish such a trick on her first try! Way to go Dylan!

T is for Toy

I submitted a drawing of my daughter Dylan & need tons of votes so it can be made into a toy.

W is for Wife

Been busy sketching for my wife's new site.

S is for Slim

Finally got off my butt and had time to sketch a friend of mine.

K is for Kelly

- Whipped out a New Years card for my wife. Felt good to sit and draw during the holiday break.
